Today was the last day of school for my kids. Amber's school had a very sweet graduation party. Amber will be in middle school with her brother next year. She will miss her teacher Mr. Turner, after all she had him 2 years in a row. I think he really liked Amber, he came to me after the party and told me that he only gave 3 citizenship awards out and Amber was the first to get it.
Most of Ambers teachers have discribed Amber as being motherly in the class rooms. I see it all the time myself. But if i ask her to do something, you would think all hell broke loose.
Report cards were great! Darin got all A's and B's and Amber got the triple combo's, A's, B's, and C's. All that i can ask for and more! Great job to them, and now they can rest their heads for the summer.
Life has been pretty routine around here. All i do is look for jobs and clean my house. Hopefully something will swing my way. There is so much that i want to do, but money is always the issue.

Oy, you can come clean my house if you want. I got oomph in that direction.
I'm glad having a teacher 2 years in a row worked out well for your daughter. It wasn't good at all for Oldest Son--I barely made it through Parent Conferences--so I really felt sad for the kids.
The teacher is a college professor these days, and seems to do better with those classes than she ever did with elementary students.
Summertime is made more peaceful by trips to the public library. Ours has fine air conditioning, computers, big tables, and the latest magazine I want to read but don't want to pay for.
Good Luck with the job search. Like Goldilocks, something Juusst Right will come along.

Today is the last Sunday of June.
A new post would be nice, eh?
