Roo's, Donkey's, and Buffalo's OH MY!

My daughter went on her field trip to the zoo and for some reason she thought it would be ok to steal my digital camera. She got in a mess of trouble...she is so lucky she did not lose it or break it.
She goes to the zoo and no pics of lions, tigers and bears.

Hey Mal, you can appreciate this pic.

Little bit of Aussie in Michigan :)

This one looks like He/she is posing.

How was everyone's Memorial? We had planned to have a picnic with my folks, but the weather forecast for the day was rain...yeh right...turns out not a bit of rain on that day. So we stayed home and woke up to not a bit of power in the house at 8 in the morning. Still don't know why.
So our across the street neighbor came over to see if we had power, she had none also. Found out my mother about a mile away also did not have power. Next thing you know we are making pancakes on propane stoves and planning a nice BBQ for the afternoon.
Everyone got alot of sun. My poor head, face and neck and pieces of my arms got fried. It was a beautiful day.
School is almost over. I can't believe it! My son will be going to high school next year. Time goes by so fast. Also, my 38th birthday is coming up very shortly, where in the world does the time go?

HAPPY BIRTHDAY HONEY!

Ok...I just did this right now! I was going to make a sign to put on the back of his van that would have said "Honk it's my 42nd birthday"...but i fell asleep early last night and did not get a chance to sneak out and do it...
Right now he is at work and when he gets home he will be welcomed to this.....Yeh, I know a little stupid and juvenile...but I think he will think it's cute..
Ok...just so you know the big dip under my picture window is where the porch is going to be just as soon as i can get it done. This is the view in front.

It's going to look nice as soon as i get that porch
*grin* It's going to be a slab porch...but i want to put up like a small wall around the porch and decorate it with flowers ...kinda like a deck...errrr i can't describe what i have in my mind..
When it's done ...ya'll will see it.
What's this....well it's the newest edition to the front garden...long story short, we are known as the turtle family...Frank has been nick-named "Franklin the turtle" from the cartoon...Hence the name "turtle family".....And I came upon this little guy while shopping and i could not resist...you can't see it here...but it's head and body moves by the wind on little springs...I got it at a real bargain! come on....I can hear you all saying Awwwwww!!! lol
Well back to the reason for the post...

I LOVE YOU FRANK!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

DIDN'T HAVE MUCH TO TALK ABOUT...SO I DECIDED TO WRITE THIS.

Hope you all had a wonderful Mother's Day! I obviously had to work, which was not as bad as I thought it was going to be. When I got home I was surprised by my daughter with a homemade Mother's Day cake that my mother helped her make. Apparently it looked so good that 2 pieces was already missing from my husband and my son. It was really good! Of course my kids made me cards that says I love you all over them. I Loved it! Amber and I went to church afterwards, the sermon was the whole congregation giving a testamony about how thankful they are with their moms or how god has blessed you.

I got up to be the second person to speak. I told them how blessed I was to have a mother that is so wonderful. I spoke about blessing me after my heart attack 5 years ago. How he blessed Frank after his stroke. How we were able to keep our house after 3 months of no checks coming in on Frank's side. How i was blessed with some of the people in the church...."Ann" was a neighbor for 16 years....she babysat my children from birth till 3 years old. She adores my children. Amber was her first girl child to babysit. Also how I was blessed for having Judy and Harold in my life. They gave me my first real money in a job, Harold helped me with getting my first car. He also helped with repairing alot of my vehicles.

I'm lucky to have a wonderful husband! When a lady that is married to my "ex boyfriend" got up to ask for prayers about her husband and all of his cheating...apparently he's been cheating since the day they got married and she is going to court because one day she caught him and her together and while she drove away I guess her side mirror hit the tramp in the hip. She had to spend the night in jail because of him! I am sooooooooo grateful not to be in that relationship anymore!

I have alot to be thankful for. I stress out alot around here...but truth be told I have faith that God will work things out for me and my family he always has.

Ok...i don't know where all that came from...I started off not having much to say.

For my mother I went over on Saturday to give her a card and I also got her a combination birthday and Mother's Day gift. It was a beautiful statue that I came across, it's a little boy sitting down holding a fishing pole with a little fish dangling off it. I saw it and thought it would look awesome around her pond. I was hoping that she would have took a picture of it and put it on her blog...but she hasn't yet. *sigh*

I had a great Mother's Day all in all.

Work is going good...I have never worked in a place that tells you how much they appreciate what you do for them. When your a good worker you DO hear about it.

Did I tell you that one of my bosses gave me a "caught in the act" note? For those that don't know what that is....It's a note stating what you did and how much they apreciated it. This is a big deal! It goes in your work file and everything! Some of these people have been there for years....and never have gotten one...I have been there under a year and have one...woohooo.

Frank's birthday is tomorrow the 15th! He is taking Friday off for it.
Happy 42nd Birthday ...

Well I rambled on long enough...Like i said i sat down in front of the computer not really having anything to talk about and I ended up writing about garbage...lol
Take care all

COMPLAINTS

It started yesterday...I was thinking of all the little things that happen in my house that drive me absolutely batty! I never really say anything about them ....but enough is enough..

1. why am i the only one that can put the cap back on the toothpaste?

2. why am the only one that can fold the laundry? I get volunteers to wash and dry, but heaven forbid anyone folding!

2. when washing dishes and finished, why can't anyone take the rag and wipe the counter?

3. Am i the only one that can physically install a new roll of toilet paper?

4. why am i the only one that can see a piece of paper on the floor...people walk around it for weeks...(seriously..i have tested this and its a fact) no will pick it up...i end up doing it after i have taken all i can take of seeing it.

5. After years of telling the kids to pick up the dirty clothes and put it in the hamper...I am still repeating myself like a broken record every morning. (do they ever learn?)

6. why is the worst task in the world to ask your kids is to put their clean clothes in the dressers?

7. why am i the official cleaner of the bathroom?

8. If you see something that needs dusting....can you take 2 seconds of your life and wipe it with a rag? Or even take a feather duster to it?

9. Apparently I only know how to run a vacuum. (unless i beg someone else do it while i prepare dinner or something)

10. Apparently I am the only one that knows what a mop and bucket is.

11. I have become the official " the guinea cage needs to be clean" informer!

12. Why do i have to make sure that everything that needs to be done is getting done?

13. why do i have to throw out a bottle of shampoo if it's empty?

14. why do i have to pick out the slivers of bar soap to throw away and put a fresh bar every time?

15. If i ask you where do you want to eat..it means i don't care..you pick...because if i really want something in particular, i would not even ask you where you wanted to go...we would just go.

16. If they open a closet why can't they shut it?

Alright i think i could go on and on...but i think you get my point...
All I am asking is if you see something that needs to be done...just do it...don't wait till i have a kiniption fit.

test

I Turned out to be a 4...which pretty much described me to a T.
I got this in an email and thought i would share it with you all.

Birth Test

Let me know your number.

Have fun!

Our Birth Date describes who we are, what we are good at, and what our inborn abilities are. It also points to what we have to learn and the challenges we are facing. To figure out your Birth Number, add all the numbers in your Birth Date together, like in the following example, until there is only one digit.

A Birth Number does not prevent you from being anything you want to be, it will just color your choice differently and give you a little insight.

3 + 20 + 1950 = 1973
1 + 9 + 7 + 3 = 20
2 + 0 = 2

Keep going until you end up with a single digit number. 2 is the Birth Number to read for the Birth Date in the example.

#1 THE ORIGINATOR
#2 THE PEACEMAKER
#3 THE LIFE OF THE PARTY
#4 THE CONSERVATIVE
#5 THE NONCONFORMIST
#6 TH E ROMANTIC
#7 THE INTELLECTUAL
#8 THE BIG SHOT
#9 THE PERFORMER

# 1 - THE ORIGINATOR - 1's are originals. Coming up with new ideas and executing them is natural. Having things their own way is another trait that gets them labeled as being stubborn and arrogant. 1's are extremely honest and would do well to learn some diplomacy skills. They like to take the initiative and are often leaders or bosses, as they like to be the best. Being self-employed is definitely helpful for them. Lessons to learn: Others' ideas might be just as good or
better; and to stay open minded. Famous 1's - Tom Hanks, Robert Redford, Hulk Hogan, Carol Burnett, Wynona Judd,

#2 - THE PEACEMAKER - 2's are the born diplomats. They are aware of others needs and moods and often think of others before themselves. Naturally analytical and very intuitive, they don't like to be alone. Friendship and companionship are very important and can lead them to be successful in life; but, on the other hand, they'd rather be alone than in an uncomfortable relationship. Being naturally shy, they should learn to boost their self-esteem and express themselves freely and seize the moment and not put things off.
Famous 2's - President Bill Clinton, Madonna, Whoopie Goldberg, Thomas Edison and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.

# 3 - THE LIFE OF THE PARTY - 3's are idealists. They are very creative, social, charming, romantic, and easygoing. They start many things but don't always see them through. They like others to be happy and go to great lengths to achieve it. They are very popular and idealistic. They should learn to see the world from a more realistic point of view.
Famous 3's - Alan Alda, Ann Landers, Bill Cosby, Melanie
Griffith, Salvador Dali, and Jodi Foster

# 4 - THE CONSERVATIVE - 4 's are sensible and traditional. They like order and routine. They only act when they fully understand what they're expected to do. They like getting their hands dirty and working hard. They are attracted to the outdoors and feel an affinity with nature. They are prepared to wait and can be stubborn and persistent. They should learn to be more flexible and to be nice to themselves.
Famous 4's - Neil Diamond, Margaret Thatcher, Arnold
Schwarzenegger, Tina Turner, Paul Hogan, and Oprah Winfrey

# 5 - THE NONCONFORMIST - 5's are the explorers. Their natural curiosity, risk taking, and enthusiasm often land them in hot water. They need diversity, and don't like to be stuck in a rut. The whole world is their school and they see a learning possibility in every situation. The questions never stop. They are well advised to look before they take action and make sure they have all the facts before jumping to conclusions.
Famous 5's - Abraham Lincoln, Charlotte Bronte, Jessica Walter, Vincent Van Gogh, Bette Midler, Helen Keller and Mark Hail.

# 6 - THE ROMANTIC - 6's are idealistic and need to feel useful to be happy. A strong family connection is important to them. Their actions influence their decisions. They have a strong urge to take care of others and to help. They are very loyal
and make great teachers. They like art or music. They make loyal friends who take the friendship seriously. 6's should learn to differentiate between what they can change and what they cannot.
Famous 6's - Albert Einstein, Jane Seymour, John Denver, Meryl Streep, Christopher Columbus, and Goldie Hawn

#7 - THE INTELLECTUAL - 7's are the searchers. Always probing for hidden information, they find it difficult to accept things at face value. Emotions don't sway their decisions. Questioning everything in life, they don't like to be questioned themselves. They're never off to a fast start, and their motto is 'slow and steady wins the game. They come across as philosophers and being very knowledgeable, and sometimes as loners. They are technically inclined and make great researchers uncovering information. They like secrets. They live in their own world and should learn what is
acceptable and what is not in the world at large.
Famous 7's - William Shakespeare, Lucille Ball, Michael Jackson, Joan Baez, Princess Diana, and Vince Ricciardi

# 8 - THE BIG SHOT - 8's are the problem solvers. They are
professional, blunt, and to the point, have good judgment and are decisive. They have grand plans and like to live the good
life. They take charge of people. They view people objectively.
They should learn to base their decisions on their own needs rather than on what others want.
Famous 8's - Edgar Cayce, Barbra Streisand, George Harrison, Jane Fonda, Pablo Picasso, Aretha Franklin, and Nostradamus.

#9 - THE PERFORMER - 9's are natural entertainers. They are very caring and generous, giving away their last dollar to help. With their charm, they have no problem making friends and nobody is a stranger to them. They have so many different personalities that people around them have a hard time
understanding them. They are like chameleons, ever changing and blending in. They have tremendous luck, but also can suffer from extremes in fortune and mood. To be
successful, they need to build a loving foundation. Famous 9s - Albert Schweitzer, Shirley MacLaine, Harrison Ford, Jimmy Carter, and Elvis Presley
