Finally after 2 weeks i lost 1 pound...down 34 pounds.. This is taking alot longer than i thought. I could be doing a bit more to help, but dang it, some days are harder than others. I think i am doing pretty good for someone that eats because they are stressed. With my daughter being so sick, with no apparent reasons that they can find yet. No, nothing to be stressed about!
Amber went to the gastro doctor on Friday and we set up an appt. for testing her gallbladder for this friday. I hope it shows something, the not knowing what is wrong is what is killing both of us. In the meantime the doctor prescribed 2 more medicines....when i got them and read the side effects I about blew a nut!!! One of them says "may cause tardive Dyskinesia" I'm not giving my daughter that and we still don't know what is really wrong with her are you crazy, she does not need twitches on top of everything else...Dumb doctor.....
Anyhoo I am still giving her the prevacid and it helps for the most part the puking is few and far between...but still there, enough to be a nuisance. The doctor told me that after this test, if it doesn't show anything, he is at a loss...Amber mentioned to him that she has started to have headaches and he says she may have a neurological thing called abdominal migraines ...same kind of symtoms, but says it only last like 1 to 3 days....this has been going on for over a month!!
That's pretty much where everything stands at the moment, hoping things start showing the light of day....
Later peeps!

I hope things start looking up soon, and you get all the right answers for Amber.
Slow weight loss is the correct way to go, so no worries, just keep thinking positive.
I agree --taking it off slowly will assure you of not gaining it back easily.
So sorry your DD is still ill. :`( My daughter's gatro put her on enzymes so that she will digest her food more quickly, and it seems to be working. Today is her birthday, I should call her up. :)
