HELP! lol
Kids are out for the week and the fights have only just begun. Trying to keep the blood splatter to a minimum. Actually they have been pretty good, they aren't fighting for the computer because they know if they do they won't be aloud on it at all. So 1 hour intervals is how they have been working it out. If it was not so cold outside i would kick the kids outdoors.
Friday i have to go shopping for Darin's treats and stuff for his trip on Tuesday. I'm so excited for him. He is going to see stuff that i have not yet been able to see.
My Easter was alright I worked all day, I really hate when customers act like they feel bad that your working. If you really felt bad, you wouldn't come in. Oh well, the thing is it was only at regular pay, you would think that they would pay time and a half. After work i was invited by my friendly neighbors across the street for a nice ham and potatoes dinner, because they knew my husband and kids went out with my family out to eat. That was sweet of them.
The kids seemed to be happy with what they got. Amber was really excited about getting her "Now 24" cd She is so into music. She constantly has her headphones on or her radio or something. She can name most of the singers she hears on the radio and song titles. Maybe if something in the animal field does not work out for her maybe a career in radio is something she can fall back on.
Darin got some shorts, and it looks like we picked the right size for guessing. Let me just say he's a BIG boy! Can you believe that he is forming a mustache on his lip? He will be 13 on August 16th. He's 5'5 1/2" tall ...that's 1 1/2 inches taller than me!!!!! Frank is only like 5'7", it won't be long before he's looking down at both of us. lol I just remind him that no matter how big he gets I will still knock him down a few pegs if i need to.
Well...i better get off here and let one of the kids on here, my hour is almost up...lol..

1 hour at a time? Well done! I'm not surprised they are sneaking out in the middle of the night and logging on! heh heh
That's *really* nice of your neighbours to do that meal for you over Easter. That's brilliant. I wish we had the same kinda 'community' feeling in our little neighbourhood, but alas there's not.
Ya, Darin sounds like my eldest... he's 13 1/2 and already half-an-inch taller than my 5' 10" !!! Gagh!
Thanks for sharing your world with us. We really appreciate it.

Boo Hoo! Im gonna miss Darin when he's gone, but I hope he has a great time, and a safe trip and comes back with all kinds of stories and good memories! I warned him to stay with the group and dont talk to strangers!
Love,
Mom
How in the world do you keep peace in the house? There were 11 years difference between me and my brother, so we never fought or had any kind of sibling rivalry.
I can't believe Darin is that big! I guess when your kids get bigger than you, its hard to threaten them with a spanking! JK
