why?

My husband got the phone call that he certainly did not expect. I was just told that he got a phone call from the daughter of the man that his mother has been living with. The news is not good.

From what Frank told me, the doctor told my MIL 3-4 months maybe a year if she is lucky.

I just want to crawl under a rock and take many drugs to make everything go away!

My mind is running a million miles an hour. So much to think about. Right now, I don't know what to say or do.

*Ann, if you are still reading my blog. I'm so sorry that you are going thru this, wish there was something i could do or say to make you feel better. My thoughts and my prayers are always with you. You are a great mother-in-law, and we LOVE YOU!*

To my readers, I thank you for listening, i appreciate your comments, prayers and support. Sorry that it's been a downer of a blog. But this is my live diary and this is my life at the moment. Thanks for your understanding.

I'm so very sorry Caroline. (((HUGS))) I wish I could say something really profound to make it better. Just know that I am here...to listen....anytime. Your family has had such a rough go of it lately. Your all in my prayers and thoughts.
Don't ever apologize for the content of your blog. Keeping it real is what it is all about.

That drink sounds like an excellent idea!

Sweetheart, you don't have to say sorry to us, I am so sorry for what is happening with Frank's mum, and it must be so hard for you all to deal with. You will though, you'll be strong, for Frank and for you and the kids.

All of your blogger friends are here for you including me.

Oh my dear...I'm sorry.
I have no great advice but to breathe...deeply. Seriously, when you have those moments you just don't know what to do and your thought are just dizzyingly zooming through your head...stop. Sit. Put your hands together (like praying) or at least press your fingers and thumb together (closing the circle of your hands) - I know it sounds dumb just trust me. Close your eyes. And breathe deep, in through your nose, out slowly through your mouth like you are blowing through a straw. Basically, meditate, if only for a few seconds. I find it calms me within even if just a little, down to a manageable level.
I know it all sounds strange and yoga-ish. But try it. I hope you and your family find peace :)
hugs!

Caroline, We want you to know that you should write what you need to write. My daughter is the same way and finds that writing it makes it a little easier to cope with. So don't even think upper or downer the people that read you will understand!
