This is one of those weeks I would just love to forget.
Last week Amber shaved her armpits and shortly after that she broke out into little pimples well one of the little pimples. I started treating it with triple antibiotic cream...That wasn't doing anything. Then a girlfriend suggested that it looked like a yeast infection so a few days with some yeast infection medicine...it did look like it was getting better. But one pimple became very gross...i won't describe it because that's how gross it was. Amber spent the whole weekend with her girlfriend because the girlfriend was having a sleepover birthday party and Amber is her BFF, I figured that when she got home it would be almost all cleared up. So when I got off work and finally saw Amber's armpit, saw that it was still very gross and very inflamed I said let's go back to my work and have it taken care of. So I am a happy little camper!
And to make things even better my mother went to Emergency this morning to have yet another boil lanced and she is spending a few days in the hospital with I. V. antibiotics. Tomorrow I will be visiting her .I thought Amber would be doing that also, but she has to take an antibiotic 4 times a day and she gets pain meds! Amber and G-Ma will be able to compare scars..lol
Amber cried and screamed a little when the doctor gave her the shot to numb it and then she lanced it. It was really sad, but needed to be done.
Hopefully nothing else will go wrong.
We are on vacation as of Friday and we leave on our trip on Saturday.

Here is hoping that Mom is back home and Amber is back to normal before you have to leave. Tell your Mom when you see her that Momma sends her best wishes that she is better soon.

Ugh! I'm so sorry... poor kiddo! I hope that's the end of it. Give Amber a hug for us ;-)
