I'll be the first to admit i am a slacker when it comes to my blog. But is it really being a slacker or just don't have anything exciting to tell you all? I think it's a bit of both.
Work has been a big pain in the arse lately, they are pushing us to get everyone on the online movie pass...I'm saying why?? Won't that put me out of a job? Why would i throw myself on the unemployment line? Frank is already on the unemployment line about every other week. He just had 3 weeks off and is back to work currently. When he is "unemployed" he is looking for a job that is a little more stable than this. It drives him nuts to be home doing nothing.
My job has been trying to give my shifts a little variety. At least i am not closing all the time. Between Frank and my mom I have been able to do different shifts.
As of Friday i have a 3 day weekend! wooohooo I don't know if i have enough money to go down on friday and spend the night in Ohio to go to King's Island, but i do have enough for tickets and gas and some food. It only means that we will have to drive down at about 5 in the morning. At least i am off on Friday so if that's the case at least i can go to bed early.
The kids are so looking forward to going, they keep asking when and here it's almost upon them.
There is so much to do and see there. They have rides, shows, characters, and a great water amusement area. I have got to take many pictures!
The kids are really starting to get on eachothers nerves, not to mention mine! Blood is seriously starting to be part of a daily ritual. lol... It's always around the one month off that it starts to get a little rough in this household. I start to pray that school starts soon and at the same time praying it takes a little longer because i have not got their school clothes and things ready yet. Amber's list of things she will need for the 5th grade is tremendous! I really hate to see what Darin's list for the 7th grade will be.
Darin's birthday is coming up next month, August 16th. My baby boy will be 12 but he looks like a 15 year old. Today my mom and I took the kids to Taco Bell for lunch and mom notices that he is getting some peach fuzz under his nose. He says he wants to grow a mustache, not just any mustache...the handle bar kind. I had to laugh! Then he said he was going to grow a goatee. I don't know about you all but i love men with mustaches..but can't stand a guy with a beard.
Amber has been getting a sense of humor about her J Lo butt. She even teases herself about it now. Girlfriend has been developing! She is looking more and more like a young jesabelle...I mean lady...lol I'm kidding ya'll! She is getting so beautiful...Today i begged her to let me put her in pig tails. She actually let me and she kept them in long enough for me to take a picture of her in them. Does anyone know what do do about some serious acne on the forhead for her? I keep telling her it's because of the oil in her hair to try and keep it off her face with a headband. And i have been buying stridex like crazy. Any other ideas? The stridex i can get her to do..but the headband thing she refuses.
My best friend Barb came down on Saturday and spent the night. It was so much fun to see her kids and play some games. I love playing Domino's and I had not played in a long time, in fact it's been a long time since i sat down with adult's and actually played anything. Well anyways she was down so that she can put her son on a plane to Boston for some special summer school for the extra smart kids. Her son Mason lives for school! He actually hates summer vacation...Isn't that the weirdest thing you ever heard? He went to Washington and visited the White House, he was suppose to meet the president if he was not busy at the moment. I don't think he did get to meet him because he never said anything about it. Well anyways, I am supposed to go up north and visit her and her little zoo in August.
You know i am kinda nevous about meeting all her new friends up there. I don't have any new friends...sure we are close with the neighbors across the street..but i don't connect with her like i connect with my best friend Barb.
I have not been feeling well the past few days...yesterday i felt like i had to puke all day. Today has just been feeling a bit weak but i just keep doing whatever has to be done. I don't have time to be sick.
Well i guess i am going to quit babbling now and take my ass to bed.
take care

Mom's got a new do!
Mom finally is trying something different with her hair. She has never had her hair so short, i guess you can say that my hair inspired her. She finally spent some money on herself! She deserves it.
I really like it on her. And as far as i know she likes it too!

Next thing ya know she will be wearing hootchie clothes like daisy dukes and tank tops...lol just kidding mom...love ya!

HELLO!
Well everything is back to normal now on the old computer...thank God!
But where do i start?
How was everyone's 4th of July? I was working on the 4th so we celebrated it on the 3rd by going on a picnic to our favorite park. We woke up extra early and had breakfast in the park. I thought my father was cooking breakfast for everyone..but guess who got stuck with that! Yep, me! After breakfast my husband and my kids went fishing at the lake. I could not go :( because i have not yet got my fishing license. Amber caught a few sun fish and hubby caught a few too. Poor Darin, the one that wanted to fish the most did not catch anything.
Amber wanted to go swimming before we started to make lunch so off to the beach we went. All of a sudden Amber was talking to a girl, as i was wading my legs in the cool water. I was thinking "man that girl makes friends easy"...until she came over to us and said "Mom, this is olivia from school". Amber really loves to swim and i was glad she had someone to talk to and play with, the water was nice..but not nice enough for me. When we went back to the picnic area i found my son cooking lunch. He really was enjoying flipping burgers and shucking corn.
After the picnic, i had to go to work for a meeting. I was pretty tired when i went and I really hate going to work on my days off. I can't plan anything for the whole day because i have to go in for an hour, just to hear all the complaining about this and that. :P
But in the evening we went to the Hazel Park race tracks fireworks for a spectacular fireworks show. They really did out do themselves this year, the fireworks lasted at least an hour. I love the fireworks that go up in the air and looks like someone thru a bunch of silver confetti.
I've been trying to keep the kids busy with things. And i do have a small trip planned at the end of the month. I am trying to save some money to take them to King's Island for the day. King's Island to me seems like a small Disney World. Rides made for the whole family to enjoy and it also has a huge water park. It will be lots of fun. Then in August I have a weekend planned to take me and the kids to my best friends house up North in a city called Lupton, to see her zoo! She has so many animals, turkeys, pigs, chickens, goats, dogs, snakes, many reptiles that i just have to go see them and her family!
Frank is bored out of his mind these days. Yep, he is back to unemployment for the time being until his job gets busy again. Damn permits! He has been looking for a job that he may stay working, but as you know, that's really hard.
A few days ago we took the kids to Walmart to put some clothes in lay-a-way for school. They really did not have much for Amber in the way of pants out yet so i may have to go back and put another in a couple weeks. Amber is in a difficult size now and that makes it hard to find clothes in her size. She is out of kids and not yet into adult..so i guess she is in junior miss? I put some underwear in lay-a-way and i had to guess her size...i started out holding size 5 up against her and that looked ok...but then i thought with her j lo butt i better go a size 6...lol
Darin is maintaining his sizes...He don't need to get any bigger, do you all know that at the age of 11 he is staring into my eyes!
Well i guess i will hit the hay.

Happy Birthday's
As of June 8th, I got a year older....they are really starting to rack up now! 36 big ones came up against me. I have to say a couple HAPPY BIRTHDAY'S...To MrsDof...turned 50 on the 10th and I know Monica over at Pieces of us has a birthday coming in June also! Gemini's are the greatest ever, don't ya think?
I didn't do much for my birthday...that was planned in advance. I usually work on my birthday because i really don't care about my birthday that much. But this year i told myself take it off so some idiot don't come in the store and piss you off on a day that should be fun. Just thought i would update
Well Frank recieved one check from unemployment. Yeh, at least he got it! His boss called him back to work the Tuesday after Memorial day. Thank god he still has a job! I won't care if he gets laid off from time to time as long as there is a unemployment check to count on.
The kids are getting excited about summer! Their last day is the 15th and they only go for a couple of hours! I'm not too excited about it...but i am excited about sleeping in! I can see it now...everything will be fine for a couple days and then boom...bam...bang...fight after fight!
Mom and I opened the pool a few days ago. Hopefully that will keep the kids from fighting so much. I can't believe the kids went in the last couple days...to me its still too cold. We had two days that i had to turn my air conditioning on, i can't stand the heat...it makes me sick. I was glad that i could shut it off and open the windows again. I am trying to keep my bills down to catch up on them.
I make the first payment on the truck this month. I put in some overtime the last couple of weeks. I snuck in an extra hour here and there. Not without any reason...we have been trying to transfer all the dvd's back into original cover art it's not easy when you have almost 5,000 movies on the floor area. We have only been able to work on it here and there. Putting the movies back in their cases saves us so much time when we put them for sale or send them back to distribution. Frank and I both have done what we can to survive during the hard times.
Frank took on a roofing job over the weekend for some extra money. The guy said he would call Frank if he has another roof in the area. He does them on the weekends only, which would be the only time he would be able to do it anyways.
This week was tight for us, I had to renew my plates to both our vehicles because my birthday is the 8th...I get paid on the 9th so ...i went and did it because with my luck me or frank would have been pulled over. The cost of my pills were outrageous...so it did not leave much for us to squeak by on. Frank said the guy for the roof was going to pay him Monday...that will get us thru the rest of the week.
Amber is having like her 8th field trip on thursday...The school is treating her out to C. J. Barrymores because she was on Safety Patrol all year. Guess what!!!!!! She is going to be Safety captain next year! This means she gets to do the flags and makes sure all the safety's are on their post. She is so geeked that the teacher that is in charge of safety's gave her this honor.
The teacher, Mrs. Fischer, is such an excellent teacher...Darin had her for 2nd grade and she really turned him around on the reading. When teacher's week came i gave her a bouquet of flowers and a really nice note. Do you know that she keeps that note and shows it off to all the rest of the teachers.. She said that it made her cry.. I sincerely meant every word that i wrote. She told me that when a parent is complaining to her about their kid, she will pull it out and read it to make her feel better. I thought that was sweet.
When Amber was going into the 2nd grade i insisted on having her teach Amber. She loved both my kids.
All of us at my work just found out that we re getting a new store manager on Monday. Everyone that has worked with her says that she is a sweetie...cross your fingers ya'll!
We are having a meeting tomorrow with her, just to get to know eachother. I think it will be fine. We handle things rather well, and we will just have to see what she will be expecting from us.
Well, bed time awaits...

Amber's Theatrical Debut

Amber in the grey sweater with her classmates just before the show started.
Amber was one of 4 people in the entire 4th grade at Roosevelt Elementary to participate in a show for Michigan week. Her responsibility was to talk about Bay city Michigan. The night before she was a nervous wreck and practicing her speech to anyone that would listen to her.
Many of the shows were interesting, informitable and imaginative. One school performed a talk show type theme. One school performed a newscast type of skit, and one school used Gwen Stefani's song "hollerback girl" to perform a skit on camping, i think everyone enjoyed that. You can see the nervousness in alot of kids. One girl did her whole thing while standing on her tippy toes. lol Another kid was figiting with his shirt the entire time. It was a total blast to watch the kids perform.

Never thought i would see my daughter's name up in lights but there it is...Amber Yetnick :)
They talked about a couple major city's in Michigan.

For their months of hard work they all recieved a trophy saying "Michigan week 2006 Education Day presenter"
She was more excited about being excused from any homework for the day...go figure!

This is Amber's teacher Mr. Turner!
I don't know why but i think he is super cute. lol
Amber seems to like him also.
The spotlight was on my daughter today...see everything balances out.

HONOR'S NIGHT FOR DARIN

Monday was a big day for my boy. Remember me saying that he was on the honor roll all year?
Well on Monday they had all the students that were getting awards and honored for special achievements at this special gathering at the school's gym.
Here he is coming into the gym

coming in front of us...he looks a bit nervous.

Here's my boy going on stage to get his special certificate. I couldn't have been more prouder. They didn't do this when i was kid.

When did i lose it?
I always thought i was a fun mom to my kids. I thought my kids thought i was cool. I listen to the kind of music that kids today listen to. I like hip-hop and rap and rock and all that and my kids and i would sing to all kinds of music together.
But today i was singing and dancing in my seat in the car, having a great time, when my daughter yells at me to "STOP DOING THAT"!!!!! I asked her" why?" and she said "your embarrassing me"! " Moi! embarrassing you?" She said "yeh! Everyone can see you!" I was like "soooooooooo you never cared before" The only answer she had was "I do now!" I've always been the mom that kids want to hang around. I am always the mom that the kids around me want to talk to and get advice. Have i lost it? Or simply misplaced my coolness?lol
Will i ever get it back?
I didn't feel that old until today.....another birthday is coming up on me in June....
Someone got a cane? better yet a power scooter? If i am getting old i might as well do it in style.

On Monday morning before the kids went to school and while Frank was shaving his face to go job hunting. We all ran out and stuck every one of the signs that my mother helped me make into the ground. Thank God it stopped raining long enough to do it!
When we were done the kids called Frank to come out, he was totally suprised! He did not know what to say. He looked at each and every one of them. They all had something different on them. My yard looked so colorful...they were all on flourescent colored poster board. People drove by stopping to see what they were all about.
I would have gotten pictures of them but the rain came back before i could snag my mother's camera for a shot. The signs got ruined from the rain, darn it.

Frank still has not been working, it's on 2 weeks now. I am very scared, but Frank is looking for a job. I just don't know what happened. For two and a half months they worked him like a dog. Now to not have any work, just don't make any sense.
Why is it when i feel like i take one step forward something makes me take 2 or 3 steps back? I know i am not the only person suffering in this day and age. But you just always have to ask WHY?
I do know why...but i am not going to get all politcal now.
____________________________________________
I want to thank you all for your prayers.....
I had a customer come in and ask why i have not seemed myself. I told him that i was stressed out about my hubby not working. He asked me to write his name on a piece of paper and he was going to get a prayer chain going for him. I thought that was totally sweet! And if God seems fit to work a miracle for my family i know he will.

Happy Mother's Day
I hope every mother had a wonderful day! Other than working on Mother's day, my day was pretty nice.
I woke up to a gigantic card that my my son bought for me, he very nicely added his sister to the card. My husband and my son made me breakfast before i had to go to work, that was really nice of them. And when i got home from work, dinner was waiting for me. What a nice day, don't ya think?
I stopped at my mother's after dinner and gave her the cards that i had gotten her. I had planned on getting some flowers to go with them but by the time i had went to the place their flowers were already picked out :(. Yeh i know, bad planning. Sorry Mom!

I haven't been posting so much lately because, I have not been feeling quite myself. When i am depressed or stressed i tend to keep to myself.
I guess it's another bad cycle for me again. Things just keep going wrong. My washing machine just broke down. Remember the wonderful job that my husband got, well....for some reason they did not need Frank to work ALL of last week! I say Great! Right after i take the plunge and put myself in debt with another new vehicle. If i had known that was going to happen i would have held off another month or two. Can ya help me pray that Frank starts working again without so much time off? It's appreciated.

Frank's Birthday is Monday. My mom helped me make signs to put all out on the front lawn, but who knew that we were going to get all this rain. Hopefully, Frank will work on Monday and it stops raining long enough for him to come home with the yard all decorated. I originally planned to do it in the middle of the night and he would wake up to it. But they will get ruined right now.
I'm going to make him a birthday cake in the morning.
He will be the big 4-0 ...yep 40,,,he said to me today that he was going on 28...if i had my say,,,i would say 2 ...lol
Doesn't 40 sound ancient? But since i will be 40 in another 4 years , i guess it's not as bad as it sounds.

Darin goes on a field trip on Monday to a place called C.J. Barrymore's because he has been on the honor roll all year and has no points against him. The points are what you get if your bad in school. He is such a good boy and really try's hard in school. They are having an awards night at the school and we have been invited to honor Darin because he is getting more than one award in school. He was allowed to invite up to 5 people. He asked his grandmother to come, and she was happy to be asked to come. I'm sure Grandpa would come if he wasn't so tired after work.
Their are many field trips planned for this month. Darin is going to the Detroit Zoo at the end of the month and Amber is going to some kind of camp for the day in just a few days.
I am so proud of my kids, they work hard!
well all, I'm getting tired...

MINI

My big baby of a dog Mini had to have surgery today. She had a sore that would never heal properly. No amounts of iodine, peroxide, antibiotic ointment would make it go away. So i took her to the vet to see what it is or how to treat it properly. The vet looked at it and told me it was a cyst that had to be removed or it would just keep coming back. Mini had chewed it out a couple of times but it would keep coming back. She had surgery around 1 this afternoon and they told me that i could pick her up around 730 pm. The vet told me that she had alot of cyst matter under the skin she ended up cutting her about a 7 inches to remove it all. The sore that i thought was only about an inch hole.
When i went to pick her up they said that she was still a little under the anesthesia and could not get her legs to move properly. They asked us to come visit her and they would take care of her for the night. She looked so doped up to us. She is never going to like a car ride again! I don't have the heart to tell her that on the 29th she is going for shots at the dog shot fair. Around the end of May i usually take her to get shaved down for the summer. She will love that tho, a day of primping and pampering! I have shelled out alot of money for her today, actually the last of my cushion of money that i was trying to hold on to. But she is a special part of my family, I got her when she was 3 months old, Darin was barely 2 and amber was only 1 year old. She treated my kids great thru all the hair pulling and play horse riding. All she ever asks for is a nice bed to lay on, and a lap to rest her head on while you pet her.
I'm sitting here missing her right now, I noticed right away that i did not have to fight for a spot on the couch. When i opened the front door i did not see her face in the window, or a big dog running over to come and say welcome back home. I hope that she does not hate me.
I'm sure she will be fine.
I love ya Mini and I miss ya!

VACATION
My first day of vacation with the kids did not feel like a vacation. What's better than that is that my first day of vacation, i was awakened by a phone call from my work!!! Thank god it was only a "did you do *this* before you went so i don't do *this* again". After i dragged my lifeless body out of the bed i commenced to stripping the beds and putting clean sheets on all the beds. Then i traveled with my mom to her destinations for the day. I had to go by my sister's house to give my daughter some clothes because she decided to spend a couple of nights with her aunt and cousins. I have to thank my sister for that, i was able to get more done with my kitchen.
After all the running around, i started on my main reason for my vacation, my kitchen. I finally plastered the walls. You guys remember me telling you that we tore down the paneling in the kitchen right? Well its time to make it one color rather than 2 toned.
After i finished that, my husband came home from work and we decided to go bowling with our son for a couple of hours. It was dollar a game day at our bowling alley, it was fun and something to do. Did i tell you that my husband beat his new high score for our league? He bowled a 202 the Sunday before. He really can bowl if he puts his mind to it.
How was everyone's Easter? Mine did not start off too great. When we left my house to meet my parents at the restaurant, we stopped at cvs to get Frank some medicine for his allergies. When we came back out, the car would not start. Thank God my mom had her cell phone on and she came to my rescue. Luckily it was just a battery, could have been worse. Other than the battery and having to work on Easter it was not to bad.
The kids loved what they got, some candy, an outfit, and cd/radio player headset and sandals. That's what they got from us, my mom and dad spoiled them more with their baskets. Darin really loves the necklaces that we got him. Lately he has been really wanting to wear necklaces.
Speaking of Darin, today me and him were standing next to eachother and my mother noticed that Darin is practically as tall as me now. I am 5'4 and he has to be about 5'3 now. He's only going on 12 ya'll! Is this normal? Or am i raising the jolly green giant? He wears a mens shoe size of 101/2. He's growing lots of armpit hair and i see signs of a mustache on his lip! I'm feeling pretty old about now.
Don't even get me started about my daughter...We(Frank and I) are considering locking her under lock and key! She is developing if you know what i mean! And girlfriend has a booty that would make J Lo jealous. She is being very helpful lately, *could mean she wants something* or she is getting *girly ways* about her. She has been folding the laundry for me without me asking. Just cleaning things that i have not asked her to do or whatever. I'm not complaining...but i go back to "nothing in this life is free".lol
Tomorrow i will be sanding and priming the kitchen. I will leave you with some pictures to look at.

This is my mom and dad. We made fun of dad because his hair has greyed over night.

Would you believe?
Sunday had to be one of the greatest days of our lives but it didn't start off that way. When my husband woke me up at 6 in the morning thinking it was 7, it was not a great start. But that was my fault, i did not tell him that i had already set the clocks ahead.
We went to bowling like usual and i was excited after the first game to learn that i won mystery on the first game. Those that don't know what that means is you pay 2 dollars to enter in like a raffle of what you bowled for that game. I had bowled a 125 for my first game and that was the number that got picked out of a bowl full of numbers. I hope that i explained that well enough. Anyways after the second game they do this again so i did not pay attention to it to much because of the odds of getting called twice is very low. So when they called out 133 for the second game, Frank raised his hand and claimed his prize!
Just when you think that's enough, my son got to pick the 50/50 raffle ticket, and guess what! YEP, he picked mine! She told me that it was the largest amount all year, which was 49 dollars.
Can ya believe it? walked out of bowling with 80 dollars in my pocket.
But the day just kept getting better. I went to Kmart to pick up a new shower head because my husband had broke ours that morning. I ended up finding 2 ceiling fans on clearance for 20 dollars a piece, one for my kitchen that i have been wanting to replace, and one for my bedroom to replace the one that the motor has decided to quit after just a few months.
So after that we decided to play the lottery since we were on a winning streak. Can ya believe i checked our numbers and i was only 1 number off to win that. Had Darin been born in "90" i would have won it. I played 1694 and the number came out 1609. Oh well, just had to try.
When i went to work, I found out that i had to sell one online movie pass and i did not think that i was going to be able to do it. But thankfully around 10:30 pm i finally got it sold.
Pretty much a good day, don't ya think?

The only movie that i was able to watch was "Brokeback Mountain", with all of it's hype, i did not think that this movie was all that they were making it out to be. Don't get me wrong, it was good, but just not my cup of tea.

FRIDAY WAS AN ODD DAY
Friday was such a weird day for me. Nothing normal about this day. I don't know how to take it. It started off with dropping off the kids at school..nothing out of the ordinary there. But after that was me checking the good old checking account to find out that Frank's last check at his old job was not deposited. SOOOOO after a little freaking out, I called his old job and had to leave a message for the HR to call me about his check. After about a half hour i got a phone call from one of the head honcho's saying that they were holding Frank's check ransom for 5 pairs of uniform pants. Ok ok...maybe he didn't say ransom...but i just thought that sounded funnier.lol
What really sucks is i asked Frank if he had to turn anything in uniform wise and he told me no. Can you say "ummm yeh right". *smack to the head* Frank never is right! doh!
So when i got there several people pointed to different people. UMMm hello people, all i want is the person that has his check! What's so hard about that? So after finding her she makes me walk with her toting a bag of pants all thru the shop to find the head whatever to actually pull each pant out of the bag and count out loud. what the????? After that obscene mess i finally got my husbands check!
Wanna hear what was so horrible about the whole thing. Too bad..i'm gonna tell ya anyways..lol While walking thru i saw several people that knew me from previous parties, and not ONE stopped to say hi, how's Frank doing? The (forgive me for language) bastards worked with him 10 years!!!!! You would think somebody would be interested if Frank was doing alright in his new job. errrrrrrrrrr it makes me so mad.
__________________________________________________
Ok...so onward on the odd day
After getting his check i stopped by my doctors office to see if i could get some samples on some of the medicines that i take because as of the 14 (the last day that frank worked) we have no insurance. I am getting insurance thru my work, but it won't start till the 1st of April. Well anyways i had to see if i could get help because i take soooo much meds if i had to pay for them outright i would have to take a second mortgage on the house...lol Maybe not exactly, but you get my point. Thankfully they were able to help
_______________________________________________
ok.... maybe that's not so odd but...
On my way home i got a phone call from my daughter's school saying that she had a tummy ache and a headache. Let's say "ummmm yeh right" again, she had been asking to stay home all week! Tummy ache was from cramps, i'm sure. But hey i don't let them come home often so the little faker got to come home. I took her grocery shopping, here's a weird part, we picked up liver and onions for dinner. I have not made this since the first year that we moved into the house. Don't ask me why, i could not tell ya.
So after putting all the groceries away i got the urge to bake...Yeh you heard me bake! If you know me the only time i bake cookies is Christmas. Well i baked a few dozen chocolate chip cookies which turned out awesome! Then i cooked our dinner of liver and onions and i have to say it turned out great! Then i went back into the kitchen and whipped up a batch of peanut butter cookies...yummmmmmmmyyyyyyy!
why? I don't know! But i could tell the kids were happy and the hubby was amazed to have a different dinner, and to have himself some homemade cookies.
After all that i was looking forward to watching "Ghost Whisperer" and low and behold it was canceled to put on stupid college basketball!

Sunday we are bowling as usual and after that we are going to pick up some tools for Frank for his new job. Frank is loving his new job! He has been working full 8 hour shifts and working pretty hard and it shows, the last few days he has looked drained, but he is happy :).
Well all...i gotta bowl in the morning so night night

It's looking good
Frank's first day at his new job went great! So far he seems to be liking it.
He was able to do many different jobs today which he said made the time go by faster. He also was able to go to other buildings to do other jobs.
Hopefully it will be a great change for him.

Mom's had her surgery on Friday. She was at the hospital at 9 in the morning and ready for surgery by 10:45 a.m. by the time i went and had some lunch and went back to the waiting room, the doctor came to me and told me that everything went fine, and he is pretty sure that he got all the infectious lump out. This was about 11:30 a.m. and then it wasn't until about 1:30 pm that i was able to see her out of recovery and up into a room.
The doctor was worried that he might injure a nerve that would prevent her from smiling, but when i saw her she immediately smiled at me so i knew that part was fine.

I mailed off my last van payment!!!!!!
In a couple of months if everything is fine with Frank's new job and i get caught up on some bills, i will be thinking of buying a new truck.

I have just lost one of the greatest bosses that you could ever hope for. She has decided to leave blockbuster for personal reasons. I can't blame her. But i am just a little selfish, she did not want me moving to Kalamazoo, but she leaves.. sad sad day.
I wish her well with everything! And i hope that we stay in touch. I gave her my email and told her that i am great at being a pen pal...or rather email pal. You write me...i write you :)
Pray that we don't get some evil M F'er in our store thinking they can come in and disturb the force. It's been running smoothly in our store. We are not normally first in everything but usually run in second place. I can live with that.

I just realized while watching my neighbors bring up their teenage kids how hard my job is going to be in just a few short years. And i am going to be looking for advice on alot of things. Such as girlfriends and boyfriends into the picture. How to give them some freedom...but not too much freedom.
I don't need either of my kids coming home and saying guess what grandma....ohhhh heck noooooo not before graduation!
I know i am prematurely thinking of this stuff...but it's something that i am afraid of. I try to be a good mother, My kids have what they need and i usually give them what they want, but not without earning it from me one way or the other.
I try and teach them a value of a dollar. I have to thank my parents for that!
Way back when i wanted my first ten speed, my dad said if i want it, i had to earn it. I worked my a** off to save for that bike. After a few months i had earned enough money to get it out of lay-a-way. I even remember getting it out of Sear's, and barely could wait to ride it.
But my point is I try not to spoil them and i am hopeing that i am doing the best as a parent that i can be. I honestly love when they know that they can depend on me when they are in need.
Don't ask me where this segment came from...I guess it's something that just had to be said. That and if i start asking questions...i want some help from those that have been down the teenage route. lol

"Derailed" was pretty good...but i tell ya if you want a movie to mess with your mind..you gotta watch this one.
"In the Mix" this one has Usher the singer playing in it. It was cute, good love story.
Do any of you watch Ghost Whisperer? I absolutely love this series!!!! Every friday night i am glued to the tv at 8pm. I guess because it is about the paranormal.

Things happen for a reason..like i always said
You all know how i wrote about my husband is losing his job. Well starting on the 20th my husband will be starting his new job. Thanks to God! Thanks to all of you that said a quick prayer and good thoughts my way.
I had been talking to one of my customers about how my husband's job had done him and she said that her father works for the city and knows alot of people and she would ask him if he knew anyone looking for a laborer. I thought and said "that would be great if you could do that" and did not think of it since then. Well on Tuesday she came in and asked me if my husband was still looking for a job. I told her yes, and she handed me a phone number. Told me that this guy was looking for a laborer and was willing to pay 10 dollars an hour to start and if he was liked he would pay him 12 in a couple months. This is what we were hoping for!
Well i gave my husband the note and he called, and got the interview on the same day. He met with him and on the way home Frank called and said that he was on the way home and would tell me if the guy offered him a job. You know i knew that he got the job right then. So when he got home he told me that he did get the job, but i did not even think that he was going to tell me that his new boss if going to pay him more then he is making now! UNBELIEVABLE! And he is going to make 40 hours and overtime!! It's a dream! Somebody pinch me!
Frank's new career is going to be in construction. Or more along the lines of destruction and clean up. He will be knocking down walls and digging trenches and pulling up floors things in that nature. Frank thinks he will like it, and it's really something that he can probably handle. And like he says, it's something different. Let's pray that he likes his new job.

That was the good news...now for bad
My poor son is very sick! Thursday he woke me up saying his throat hurt really bad. So when i got a flashlight and saw that the back of his throat looked redder than an apple, he got to stay home from school. I tried to get him into the doctor's on the same day but their were no openings so he had to suffer for 24 hours. I pumped motrin in him every few hours for the pain and the fever that reached 103.7. Poor kid has been puking everything up for 2 days. He missed the bathroom only once and guess who had to clean that up! Yep..yours truly...yuk!
When the doctor saw his throat he told Darin to close it because it was too ugly.lol
He then prescribed him antibiotics and told him to drink, drink, drink. Popsicles are good for kids that are throwing up because you can't drink them too fast.
The kid is getting treated like a king! Hopefully he is feeling better real soon.

Still Here
The reason i have not been posting regularly is because i have not been feeling just right lately. The only symptom i seem to be having is that i am tired ALL the time. I can barely keep my eyes open for anything these days. I worried about it, talked to my doctor and he ordered some tests. My fear is that it was my heart. I did feel this way just before my heart attack. My doctor ordered an echo of my heart and a bunch of blood tests. I have to wait till Monday to find out anything because my doctor is on vacation this week.
I do think that i may have found out the reason for this, A man that works with me just found out that he has mono with a touch of the flu. Now catching mono was probably made easy by me mistakenly drinking his water. I thought it was mine folks.
I have not had the energy to do anything, and what i do, i have forced myself to do. I guess if i had to chose mono or heart attack..that's a no brainer.
But with me having to be so active and having so many things to do in a day it's really messing me up.
So that's my excuse for not posting and i'm sticking to it..lol

Movies
There has not been many to talk about these days but i will do my best
I just finished "Just Friends". This is not a great film, but worth watching once. It's about a "fluffy" man that has a crush on this girl in high school. They are best friends and he decides he is going to tell her that he is in love with her. Well things get mixed up and he gets made fun of. He leaves, starts a great career and loses all the weight. When he ends up home, he finds her and tries to have a relationship with her. Things get in their way ...i'll let you see if you like it from here.
"Yours, mine, and ours" was a great family film! There is no way in hell i would have that many kids! If you were thinking of a big family, you would reconcider in a second.
"Harry Potter, goblit of fire" is as usual! Spectacular! Little more dark magic in this one.
I thought "Doom" sucked. But from what i am gathering is the men that liked the game, are the ones that are really liking the film. I thought that watching "The Rock" would have saved this movie...but for me it was not even worth it for him.
I'm trying to remember the movies that i have watched lately that i have not posted anything on.
"Prince and Me 2" was not the same without kirsten dunst. But cute anyways.
"Stuart little 3" the kids adored!
"North Country" is the whip!!!! Every woman needs to watch this movie! I loved it! It's about sexual harrassement on the job. This one happens to be in a mine. Charlize Theron worked her but off on this one.

I won't talk about our bowling because i was not there this past Sunday...i had to work. :( But from what i have heard, we really sucked...goodbye second place. :(

My husband has honestly been trying to find another job. Hopefully he can find one before this job is no more. He's been looking online and whenever possible he is putting in applications when he can. I have faith that he will find one. He has never been without a job in the 13 years that i have been with him, and his parents have always said that he worked all the time. Just now i think he is nervous because we have alot to lose if he is out of work for too long.

WE HAVE SOME NEW HIGH SCORES!
Bowling was the best this past weekend, we had a great time. I forgot to mention that Frank had bowled his first 201 game last weekend. He was so excited, and i was happy for him. My darling Amber bowled a 111, which beat her old high score of 105 this last Sunday. And poor Darin was just 3 pins shy of beating his 144. He'll get it next time.
Not much has been happening worth writing about. That or i am just depressed about everything. I just believe that God has a purpose and i don't see it now..but in the long run it will work out, i just know it.
I hope all is well with you all...take care..i will write more later.

Shock!
On Tuesday my husband found a paper stating something about his job moving to Kalamazoo. On Wednesday he asked questions about it and found out that is what thier plan is. We were told that we have a week to decide wether we are going to sell our house and move there and keep his job, or get no unemployment and no job. For a minute we panicked and said we might do it. But the more we thought about it, the more we knew it wasn't for us.
The list of why we shouldn't was longer than the list of why we should. Even with the promise of a raise and more hours it's not going to work for us.
1. If he does get alot of hours, who is going to take care of our children while i work? We know no one in Kalamazoo. If it was only me and Frank i think we would actually consider it for just a change of scenery. Or if the kids were old enough to be home alone it might be under consideration. But not now!
2. I have/want to be here around my family, my mother mostly, what if something else happens to her?
3. The kids with school/ they are doing great in school...pulling them to another environment might mess them up and i will be raising 2 demons...lol...jk..but you know were i am going with that. But think about it...kids can be cruel and if your not accepted..your screwed.
4. What if i transfer my job there and i absolutely hate the place, the people and so forth. I love my job where i am. My crew i could not ask for better. And they love me....They have told me that i cannot move what's so ever! My boss even hugged me and said that i can't leave her...You know i was balling out of control then.
5. What kind of guarantees are there if we do move there that the place will not lay him off down the road and we are still screwed and no one to help us and no family around and stuck in Kalamazoo.
6. I love my house...It actually is the house that i had been dreaming about when i was in high school...i knew when i walked into the place that this was it! I remember having a dream with the same rooms and lay out and everything...I love my neighborhood, my neighbors and my house. I don't want to go.
Reasons to move:
1. Frank keeps a job
2. Raise/ more hours.
As you can see, not a hard choice.
But then i had to figure out how to survive while Frank is looking for a job and no money from his part coming in.
Well obviously we are going to try and get unemployment, even tho they say they are not going to give it...My mother called to see if their was a way to get it...They did say that we would have to fight for it, But because of how far they are moving, we may have a chance.
But meanwhile
1. Cash in Frank's 401 k for housepayments.
2. Of course i need medical..or rather all of us. So i will have to get it thru my work...It's not great ..but something is better than nothing...especially with prescriptions.
3. If i have to cash in our life insurance policies...that is another option
4. I will get a job back at mcd's if i absolutely have to...i have friends still in the business and i know they will kill to have me back.
5. Thankfully my van will be paid off in another month so that will be one bill less a month.
So there ya have it folks...my newest nervous break down.
The first day was the hardest for me. I could not stop crying...but i'm glad me and frank were able to talk civil to eachother and decide that Kalamazoo was not where we were heading.
I'ts only been 2 whole days to swallow all this and his boss wanted an answer today...Can ya f***ing believe that????? Frank just told him that we are still thinking about it.
I guess the guys that said that they were not going, are getting treated like crap by them and that is a good plan to get out of unemployment ...make them quit.. i told frank your going to have to eat crap so that we will get that unempoyment check.
Well guys...off to bed.

I DID IT!
If anyone hasn't noticed, I finally figured out how to blogroll! All my favorites are there on the side. It took me a minute to figure out how to do it but I finally made some progress. lol
Can anyone tell me where to get some cute blinkies? Or anything that would be cute to a blog?

Sunday bowling was fun. We bowled pretty good, I managed to pull off a 142 in the second game which won the mystery pot. It made me a whole 23 dollars richer..lol
No one beat their high scores last Sunday...but there is always this Sunday.

Movies
I totally recommend seeing "In Her shoes" It's about 2 sisters, one having her life together and the other not able to get anything right. It explains half of siblings these days. I thought it was great and Cameron Diaz was fantastic!
"Flightplan" is always a great movie...I will warn you that you will think that you have the whole movie figured out ....but this movie pulls the rug from underneath you and it's nothing of what you thought it would be.
I watched "Waiting" this movie is about working in a restaurant and what things that could happen while working there. This movie is kinda National Lampoonish..I laughed at parts, almost gagged at parts but this movie was not the greatest, but if you have nothing better to watch give it a try. I think people that have ever been in the restaurant business would appreciate it the most. I think this movie will fall under "personal preference".

THE REPORT CARDS ARE IN
I am happy to report the kids are still alive! lol
Darin is still on the honor roll :) ! I am so very proud! Darin got 3 A's 2 B's and 1 C.
Amber is also doing very well with mostly B's and a couple C's she did however get an A in computers and art. I really got to crack down with her and her math. especially multiplying and dividing.
Darin started a new semester which includes gym for the next 10 weeks. I'm glad the boy is getting excercise on other body parts other than his thumbs. Poor guy on Wednesday was complaining he could not walk because his legs were hurting him so much. He usually plays football out front during summer, but winter he hybernates to his room and games.
Amber was in the school paper that we got at home, they honored her with Safety of the month.
For taking care of more than one area. She has the responsibility of chaining the drive way for the school if she arrives before the other safety's. She usually is there before others because I drop her off right after Darin, he has to be at school before she does.

On Wednesday night i was not feeling well and almost puked. When i got home i went straight to bed. Thursday i woke up feeling like someone sucked the life out of me. I could not stay awake. I felt like i was getting something and still had to go to work. I told myself the whole day if i puke i will call in to work, but that did not happen. I have this fobia of calling in sick, i can't unless i am throwing up. I won't lie totally i have in the past called in sick without actually being sick, but only a couple times in the million years that i have been working. lol. But today is all fine and dandy. I know i am going to get something. Everyone i know has been sick, but somehow i have avoided it.

You can tell it's been a full moon the last few days. All the weirdo's are out, or just plain stupid.
I had a guy that i had followed all over the store because he just drew attention to myself by always looking to see where i was. So i started to be around him as much as possible and walked around the areas that he was at and noticed a few games in the very back of the store that were not supposed to be there. So i put them back where they are suppose to be and hung around the area. Any smart shoplifter would have given up or left. Not this one! He takes another game and hastily tossed it on a shelf in the back, he seen me coming fast is why. So i told him that i wanted him to leave. He said why of course and i said i just found games in the wrong area and its very suspicious. Anyways i got him out. He new what he was up too and so did I.
He had enough nerve to call a few minutes later pretending to be the father. Why did you kick a boy out of your store. I said that he had been in the store for over an hour and that i had asked him many times if he needed help. I plainly said for loitering! I also said that there were games for the game boy advance being placed towards the back of the store that should have not been there. He (acting as the father) said that "his son" don't even own a gba system. I said OHHHHH yes he does! I saw it plainly in his coat! Total outline of it in his pocket.
Then there was a caller that asked "Do you know when you close?" It took me a second to decide to say this but out came "Yes i do, apparently you don't"...lol It would have been different if he said "what time do you close?" It was the " Do you", that had me. I'm hoping for a better week here.
There are more that i could rattle on about but these two took the cake.
Well anyways.....Happy MLK day!

Amber's haircut

Don't she look cute? I love this look for her since she won't let me put her hair up or do much to it unless its a special reason.

Me and mom argued wether this looked like a halo above her or horns. It wasn't me that said angel. lol
At least she likes her picture taken.

Last Sunday at bowling we all did rather good. I have finally beaten my high score of 137 and now its 146. It took all i had to get that, so i can't imagine beating it any time soon. Darin also bowled over his high score of 141 and got a 145! He's really into it...but mostly he tries to beat his dad in bowling. We were up against some bowlers that there averages are higher than we can imagine, but it helped that we had a high handicap.

Movies
Just got done watching a movie called "Half Light" and i thought it was great! It's not out till Tuesday but I do recommend you watch this, it has Demi Moore and she acted her but off in it. I won't tell ya much about it because anything i say might ruin it for ya...
I also recommend "Transporter 2 ", this was action packed. "Lord of War" with Nickolas Cage was interesting. He's been doing better movies lately, i was no fan before National Treasure, that was the best movie i have seen him in for awhile. "40 year old virgin" was funny.
well i just wanted to post something real quick before i went to bed...gnight all

Happy New Year
Happy Belated New Year
I'm a little late with that, but its meant most sincere!
My New Year's was not too bad, I had to work an 8 hour shift that was not bad at all. Then i left work and went to our local super K to get some dog food and pick up some lunch meat for the festivities later in the evening. I spent a half hour waiting at the deli counter because the person in front of me ordered what seemed like a pound of everything in the case. Then i had to wait in line to check out because the register was not printing out reciepts correctly. All i wanted to do was actually go home.
We chose to spend it with our good neighbor friends and just play some cards and games and listen to the radio. We taught our neighbors how to play Euchre and that turned out to be fun when it was boys vs. girls, and girls won.
_________________________________________
Amber and I went and finally got our hair cut today...yeah! My hair starts to bother me when i have to blow it off my face or it's poking in my ears so i definitely needed it. Amber decided to get a shorter hair cut also. She looks adorable!!! She got a kind of bob look, it follows her jaw line. I will have to take a picture of it and post it on here when i can.

Mom's computer took a royal crap, so it will be awhile before she has a new one and is up and running again. She's had it for a very long time and it has been acting up for awhile now, out with the old and in with the new i suppose.
well....off to bed i go.

Christmas was special!

Just think back in 1993 this is the day that I found out I was pregnant with Darin and I was proposed to with ring on the same day. 12/24/93

This is me now... Tired and can't stand up because i just worked the hell shift at work on christmas day.

Me, Frank and kids very happy with what was given to us!

Isn't Amber gorgeous!!!! She let me do her hair. You can't tell much by the picture, but i took an hour and a half just crimping her hair with a tiny crimping iron, it looks fabulous! She is growing up so fast!

Posing in front of grandma's beautiful decorations of harbor stuff in her play room.
Everyone was very happy this year! We all got what we wanted! I got a few things off the list i made. Like pots and pans and bed sheets, i guess everything else will have to wait. :)
My boss bought me a sex and the city travel game that was kinda great because i loved that show. I even had a crew member bring me a gift card for work, so that i can purchase a few pops or snacks when i need one. I thought that was very thoughtful.
I bought mom a beautiful gazing ball and pedestal for Christmas. It's not easy finding a garden item in the middle of winter. But it was the only thing that i new that she said that she wanted at all. It gets tiring getting her the usual stuff like perfume or clothes or jewelry. She seemed to enjoy it and she said that i had a great memory because she don't even remember that conversation.
My dad loved his ring and mom says that she thought he was going to cry when he opened it. It's a gold ring that says DaD on it, and around the word dad it has diamond chips around it. He has never had a ring before and told my mother that he would like one. He went to have it sized and it had to go to a 15 1/2. I new he had big hands but geesh! He thought he would get a ring that said grandpa on it. He's never completely happy...lol Who know's there are plenty of Christmas's left, you never know.
Frank got a couple pairs of jeans and a couple shirts from my mom and dad. He difinitely needed that! I got him a pair of sneakers that he needed for awhile but just kept putting off.
I myself was pretty satisfied with what i got. Coulda used that cruise or bills paid up but you can't have everything! lmao
_____________________________________________________
I had to work a 5 1/2 hour shift at work on Christmas day, and it was busy even before i unlocked the door. About 5 people were waiting in their cars for me to unlock the door and within 3 hours of opening we had done over a thousand dollars! It was horrible, especially when they say "awwwww you had to work on Christmas Day?" Sometimes i said "awwww you had to come in on Christmas day?" Stupid people! It's better if they just say "merry xmas" then anything else on such a day.
On Christmas day is a day that i don't go looking for anything open! I do everything i absolutely need to do on the day before.
But all in all the food was great, the presents were awesome, and Mom was home for the holidays this year!
I'm getting tired so i will close for now. Hope everyone got what they wanted or needed.
And I am hoping for a better new year for everyone.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!
It's officially Christmas Eve! Merry Christmas!
I'm finally done shopping, baking, done, done, and done.
Today i was on a mission to find my mom's present since she was the only one i had to buy for left on my list. It only took me 2 days and 7 stores to find it! But at least i won't be walking aimlessly on Christmas Eve to find her a gift! I really hope that she is gonna like it.
It's really bugging my mother about what it is because she said it in one conversation and i put it to good use. So she has spent a few days trying to recall what she let slip out.
Hopefully we all will get what we most desire! Or pretty close..lol
Happiest of holidays my blogging friends :)

DARIN IS THE BIG BOWLER OF THE WEEK!
For some reason Sunday was a big day of bowling for most of us, but Darin went above and beyond!
Darin's highest score was a 122, it is now replaced with a whopping 141!!!!! Go Darin!
Amber almost beat her new high score of 105 but just came a little short. Maybe after the 2 week break we will all make new records! I think the new balls are helping alot!
Scores were:
Amber 57, 85, 103
Darin 141, 69, 114
Frank 130, 90, 127
Caroline 119, 129, 120
I've been trying different things when i bowl and i think i might have got something that i can do with my bowling. We will see if my average goes up.
______________________________________________________
I can't believe Christmas is only a few days away. I will be finishing on Christmas Eve. :P
I still haven't gotten my mothers. But i do know what i want to get her. I just hope that i am able to find it. If not i have a back up plan. Mom is like the hardest person to buy for, because there are the usual things that you get your mother and she would be just happy with that. But i always try to find something that she wants but won't spend the money on herself.
I have just a few more gifts to buy, which is impressive because with hardly any money and trying to keep my head above water, I'm lucky to be this far.
I hope that you all are having better luck than I!
_____________________________________________________
I can't believe the weather, Unusual is the only word i can think of. I'm glad that i got my lights out when i did, otherwise it probably would not have gotten done. I just hope we get a break right after Christmas to take it all down fast. I love the Christmas stuff but when the holiday is over i don't like to keep it up! I look for a little more normalsy right after.

Just call me betty crocker!
Today was a lazy day, I had taken the day off work and got some sleep, housework and errands done.
I started baking again. Today on the menu was pineapple cookies and peanut butter cookies.
My son loves the pineapple cookies and have begged me for days to make them. I think i might bake some more cookies on Monday.
Got worse information on my husband's truck. It's going to cost us more than we thought. Apparently its a cracked head. Thank god the mechanic has a good heart and feeling the Christmas spirit. He told me that he will let me have the truck and make payments on it every Friday. Good news because my husband has a hard time getting home without a vehicle. He has a ride to work, but because he gets off work at different times its hard to have a definite ride. It figures when we are about to get rid of it around March, it would do this.
I'm happy that i got all my decorations up. Just in time for all the snow that we got. This weather is very unpredictable. The snow looked beautiful when i got up on Friday. I thought the kids would not have school, but apparently the snow fall was not bad enough and i got plenty of dirty looks while dropping them off at school. The roads were not that bad so i see why they were open. After school i thought i would not hear the end of MOMMMMMMM there was only like 10 people in our class. Well look at it this way, your not going to have double the homework on Monday. :)
time for bed! later

Tis the season!
God there is so much to say. Been busy, busy, busy.
Amber woke up sick this morning, she woke me up this morning around 5 in the morning saying she did not feel very well. After i said "if you don't have a fever, your going to school". I felt her forehead and indeed she was burning up! I gave her some motrin and she was sleeping like a log after that. She stayed home today, and of course my day does not stop for a sick child. I had to bundle her up to help my mother do her errands. Then once we got home i decided not to waste the day and start baking!
I only bake cookies one month out of the year and you guessed it! For Christmas! I started with 4 loaves of banana bread. One for my mother, 2 neighbors and for ourselves. After that i picked a new cookie for the holiday. I usually pick one different new recipe for cookies and this one was called peanut butter banana cookie. It tastes as good as it sounds. It is made with crunchy peanut butter, pretty easy to make and is delicious! After that i started with my famous pumpkin cookie. Everyone is begging for these! After that i was wiped out. Hopefully i will find time to do some more this week.

Frank had his Christmas party on Saturday. I enjoy these because we get to go to other cities and stay at fancy hotels. The past 2 years they did a show and dinner thing. This year we got to go see some comedians perform on stage. God they were funny, They did this big skit on Blockbusters and the "No late fee thing". I really laughed my butt off! Then they did a skit on a eye glass place on 8 mile, where the techs would be doing strip shows. lol
They were really funny. After the show we just hid in our room and watched TV. Are we getting old or what? Usually we go to the after party, party, in one of the hotel rooms and talk and drink. But i guess this year we wanted some peace and quiet.

Frank's truck went into the shop for repair on Friday, and Saturday they called to tell us that it needed a major tune up badly. Ouch! Well today they called and said that there is more work involved which is more money. I was about to cry, when i asked him if he would accept installment payments, and he said that he would work with me. Thank God he works at the end of my mothers block and we have seen eachother many times. He did some work on my mini van when the air conditioning went out and i was very pleased with his work. He called me a" nice lady" and that he would work with me and understood it's the holidays. Thank you Jesus!

On Wednesday i left my mothers a bit early to take advantage of a nice day and put out my Christmas decorations. I did not take everything out there, I could make it look like national Lampoon's Christmas vacation, but i was not really in the mood to deck it out. I made it a simple but pretty. I will try and take pictures and show you.
Mom's been trying to put her decorations up at her house. Believe me all week i have heard how messed up i made everything. I did the best i could do without any help from anyone. It needed to come down and she was in the hospital. I had to laugh when she said you should have left it up. "Until May or June?" that's about when she was finally able to do things on her own again. I just told her " YOUR NOT ALOUD TO GET SICK AT CHRISTMAS EVER AGAIN!"

Well, I still have alot to say but my eyes are already in bed. I think i will go join them. lol

Happy Thanksgiving!

Thanks Mom for sending me these pics from your scanner!
These are the school pictures for this year! Don't they look much older than 11 and 10?
They make me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
Well we just made the decision to break a family tradition this year. We are not going to the parade downtown this year due to the cold and more of the fact that they have alot of construction down there and we are afraid that we will be parked behind some construction machines. We will do it next year!

I just realized that I have a couple anniversarys!

Went to see the doctor a couple days ago and all is pretty good. Sugars are still high but lower than they were. Blood pressure is great! So he tells me i am still alive! I was worried about that. lol
Mom on the other hand is not doing so good. Blood pressure is high and now she has another swollen gland that may need to be cut out of her neck again. Poor Mom! I hope that its nothing serious. Hopefully she won't spend any holidays this year in the hospital!

Sunday bowling went ok. We could have done better. We broke down and bought the kids new bowling balls as an early Christmas present. Hopefully that will help.

I don't have to kill them Yeh!
Kids just got their report cards and i am happy to say that they get to live another semester..lol
Darin made the honor roll with 3 A's 2 B's and one C this is brought up from an F! I could not be more happier. Amber is doing well in 4th grade, i was shocked at the amount of books she has been reading in school and testing for. Baby girl got 3 B's and 2 C's, I can't ask for better! Talking to her teacher, her teacher said "Amber is really shy" I ABOUT FREAKED! AMBER SHY??????? WHAT THE! I told him to come to my house and meet the true Amber! lol But in a way i have to look at it this way, I'm happy that my kids are behaving when i am not around them all time. Things that happen now i can handle. But in a way i have to look at it this way, I'm happy that my kids are behaving when i am not around them all time. I can't believe it!
Sunday bowling was weird but great! We won all 3 games, but the first 2 we were barely playing. Then all of a sudden my hubby pulls a 188 score! GO HUBBY, IT'S YOUR BIRTHDAY...LOL
Scores:
Amber 72,71,85 as you can see after purchasing the wristband she is doing incredible!
Darin 122,110,86 boy is determined to bankrupt me with the quarter a spare and 50 cents a strike....lol he earned himself a whopping $3.50 from me this day!
Frank 96, 126, and then he woke up and did the 188.
Me 95, 128, 85 Well at least i tried...
And thanks to Darin and Frank for winning for us!
____________________________________________________________________
Movies
"Charlie and the chocolate factory" ok..the only thing i can say is watching it once should last you a lifetime. I hate that they made Willy Wonka such a tart in that movie. Poor Brad Pitt!
"Christmas with the Cranks", this also goes on the list of if i never watch it again it would be just fine.
____________________________________________________________________
Well folks...my eyelids are getting heavy...hope that you all had a great weekend!

Halloween

Hubby decided to join into the fun and put my wig from last year on and slapped some paint on his face and went trick or treating also. I guess you can call him a middle aged rocker.
Darin decided that he did not want to do the halloween thing, but stay home and help grandma pass out candy at my house. It was a great night for trick or treating, we started at 6 pm and did a full 2 streets then got home for it to start raining, thank god we were done. After that the kids all wanted to go to 7/11 to get their free slurpee, they do this every year.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Well i got a math trick for you all if you want to try it
1. GRAB A CALCULATOR. (YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO DO THIS ONE IN YOUR HEAD)
2. KEY IN THE FIRST THREE DIGITS OF YOUR PHONE NUMBER (NOT THE AREA CODE)
3. MULTIPLY BY 80
4. ADD 1
5 MULTIPLY BY 250
6. ADD THE LAST 4 DIGITS OF YOUR PHONE NUMBER
7. ADD THE LAST 4 DIGITS OF YOUR PHONE NUMBER AGAIN.
8. SUBTRACT 250
9. DIVIDE NUMBER BY 2
DO YOU RECOGNIZE THE ANSWER? NEAT, HUH?
